Sunbrella®

Woven polyester, surface-dyed for single-color panel printing or run through full-panel dye sublimation for photography and gradients. The workhorse promo fabric.

Solution-dyed olefin (polypropylene). Pigment lives in the fibre itself, not on the surface — so colorfastness outlasts woven polyester at a similar price point.

Solution-dyed acrylic. The category benchmark for fade resistance — 5-to-10-year color retention. Hundreds of colors and patterns; single-color panel print only.

Eligible frames
Alumus 7.5′ (8-rib) & 9′ only
Best for

Promo programs, events, breweries, dealerships, single-season giveaways.

Best for

Seasonal patios, cafes, value programs where colorfastness matters more than premium feel.

Best for

Hospitality, resorts, long-life branded shade programs.

Frame differences

The frame underneath.

All three series are 6-rib hexagons (4-rib squares for the 6′×6′). Pole material and lift mechanism are the decisions that matter.

Best for
Highest-volume promo runs, events, dealerships, breweries

Our highest-volume frame. The default choice when unit price drives the decision and the umbrella will see one or two outdoor seasons of use.

Best for
Restaurants, breweries, venues that want a warmer aesthetic

Same steel chassis as Shadetek with a 202 Woodgrain powder-coat finish. Reads more residential than the all-grey ECO — food & beverage venues choose it for the warmth without the hardwood price.

Premium · Aluminum / FRP

Alumus

ALUS series · 308 Light Grey / 709 Dark Grey
Aluminum
Pole
38/38 mm aluminum
Ribs
12.7 mm fiberglass (FRP)
Lift

Tilt

Sizes
6′, 6′×6′, 7.5′ (6-rib + 8-rib), 9′
Best for
Premium residential, boutique hospitality, long-life programs

Aluminum pole + FRP ribs make Alumus the lightest frame in the line and the most weather-flexible — ribs flex under wind instead of buckling. Only series eligible for Sunbrella covers (758C, 908C).

Quick decision rule

Shadetek (ECO) if unit price drives the decision and the program runs one or two seasons. Ironwood (MOW) when the venue is restaurant or hospitality and the warm woodgrain look matters. Alumus (ALUS) if the program is long-life, requires the lightest weight, or needs Sunbrella covers for premium positioning.
